Beta World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth Tanks - Gear Swapping Restrictions in Mythic+ Dungeons

The recently released Battle for Azeroth beta has brought about several changes to the popular Mythic+ dungeon feature, and one of these changes is generating a lot of discussion among players. Specifically, the ability to swap gear pieces while inside a Mythic+ dungeon has been restricted.

According to Blizzard's confirmation during their Q&A session, no gear swaps are intended during the countdown and timer in any Mythic+ dungeon. This means that once you've entered a dungeon, you won't be able to change your gear, including trinkets and Azerite Armor, until you've completed the instance.

This change has raised some concerns among players, particularly Warlocks who were looking forward to being able to portal out of an instance, swap their gear for the next section, and then get summoned back. However, it's worth noting that there is currently a workaround - players can still swap gear when outside the dungeon. Trying to do so while inside a Mythic+ key will result in an error message stating 'You can't do this right now'.
